- 3/4 cup warm milk
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. yeast
- 4 cups flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup butter
Filling
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 cup softened butter
Glaze
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups icing sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- zest of 1 orange
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- Put all the ingredients for the dough into bread machine on dough setting
- Mix the filling ingredients together and set aside
- Roll out dough into a large rectangle
- Sprinkle the filling on top and spread to the edges
- Roll up the dough tightly
- Cut the buns into 2 inch pieces
- Place in a parchment lined 9 x 13 pan
- Cover and let rise in a warm spot until doubled
- Bake for 15 minutes @ 350 f. DO NOT OVER BAKE you want them a light brown on top.
- While cinnamon buns are baking make the glaze.
- As soon as cinnamon buns come out of the oven spread half the glaze over the buns. Once they have cooled a little more, spread over the rest of the glaze.
